A Quick Update : Holiday Lag

It’s been like ages since I last posted an update here on my blog and I hate myself for that. -_-

I’ve been busy this whole holiday season and I was not able to manage my time well. I have work and I have to go to my home province for my brother’s wedding and to celebrate Christmas with my family and when I was there despite the very very good time and atmosphere to read I ended up just sleeping most of the time.

One of my New Year’s resolution for  next year is to manage my time more, read more and blog more. I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to do that. I won’t make any promises but I will really do my best to achieve that. 🙂

By the way, when I was in the province I manage to fix and clean my bookshelf. Here’s a glimpse of the books that I have:

By the looks of it my books here in the city is now double that of what I have at home in the province. My father, who likes to build things, promised to build new shelves for the books that I’ll bring home. (I love my family for being so supportive 🙂 )

I’ll be going back to the province on the 31st to welcone the new year with my family and I hope I could have one more blog post before this year ends but if I won’t be able to do so I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and may 2015 bring good fortune to all of us. 🙂

More, more and more books to come this 2015! 🙂

I already had a pile that I called my to-be-finished-books-before-the-year-ends book pile before the holiday started but meeeh it’s just 3 days before this year ends and I haven’t touch any of it yet. So the book pile will be renamed and it will become my to-be-read-books-that-I-should-finish-before-January-ends-or-else-I’ll-hang-myself book pile to pressure myself. 😀

    1. That’s just 1/3 of my total books. I have more here in the city where I currently live. Sadly, I am slowly getting my way through all my books. To avoid myself of buying and buying more books I started my “5-1 plan”. I should read 5 books first from my pile before I buy a new book. 🙂
